As a mom, I learned very quickly that every moment is precious. From newborn to senior year I help mom’s capture as many moments as possible.
My name is Courtnie Benshoof. I grew up in the Gillette, WY area until my sophomore year of high school, when moved to Newcastle. After graduating high school, I went to college in Powell, WY for their photography program. When I returned to Newcastle, photography became more of a hobby and side hustle while I worked as a CNA.
I met my now husband when I was 20— he brought 4 beautiful children with him. We got married a few years later and struggled for a a while with fertility issues. In 2022 we were finally blessed with our miracle baby.
My husband started his own trucking company which moved us to Douglas in 2024. I decided then that I was going to do what I always wanted to do- capture people’s happiness. Freelancing is a great way for me to not only make extra money for my family, but also work around my kids’ schedules so I can homeschool my son, and still be involved in my step kids’ lives/activities as much as possible.
